Sunstruck: Explore the sun in all its glory in this fulldome show. Sunstruck takes us on a journey to discover the wonders of our magnificent sun and investigate how our star has supported life on Earth for millennia. This program includes information on the structure of our sun, the source of its energy, and how solar activity impacts our world.
September 10: Word Art
Looking at examples of contemporary artists who use text as part of their art, we see that words have power, handwriting has personality. What is the purpose of words? What kind of power do words have? What role do words play in your life? How can words be used to make art? Stencils, stamps and stickers will be on hand for this project.
